It's time for the city's annual recycling roundup. If you're a do-good-for planet earth type, then you probably already knew about this and have all your recyclables bagged and ready to go.
But if you're not so eco-minded, here's an incentive: You get free movie tickets just for bringing recyclable goods to Fretz Park Recreation Center this Saturday between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. You can bring things like scrap metal, old electronics (video games, cell phones, computers, calculators, etc.), small kitchen appliances, clothes, shoes, used books, glass, paper and plastic. There will also be an onsite document shredding service. After you make your donation, just present your proof of residency (utility bills or drivers license) and you'll get 2 free Cinemark movie passes. But those free tickets are only being handed out while supplies last, so you'd better get there early.
